About Me

History:

Born June 1997, I had average grades during years in primary school but as I transit into secondary school my grades started to drop due to lack of interest in studies and no job interest in the future.

During my primary school year I was bought a gameboy advance as my very first gaming console, due to lack of money I never could buy new games and could only play the few games I had such as pokemon. My next gaming console was the PSP, I played games such as GTA: Vice City Stories and God of War as well as Patapon.

As I grew older my next gaming console was the xbox 360 slim, on it I played games like Mass Effect, Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, Fallout 3. After that I saved up enough cash to buy myself a PSVITA as my next console, and with it I played games such as Persona 4: Golden, Project Diva,  various other JRPG. This exposed me to how complex games can be as an interactive media, with it's story telling, gameplay, soundtrack and character development aspect.

I soon develop a love for gaming and wanted to know how to make my own games and at this point. I was determine to be a game developer when I grew up and hence started to take my studies more seriously on subjects such as maths. And passed my O'levels to get into the Game Development and Technology course at Nanyang Polytechnic.

After playing many games on consoles I decided to explore how to enhance my gaming experience and soon was engrossed in building PCs. I took it upon myself to learn the components that makes up a PC and what their functions are such as the motherboard, ram and GPU,  at this point I was determined to build a PC by myself for the first time. So after graduating from secondary school I worked part time before earning enough money to build my PC.

Through gaming on PC I learned about various effects used in games such as AA, Vsync, MotionBlur and other graphics options in games. It also exposed me to the indie scene of gaming on platforms such as steam, which produce amazing titles from time to time with just a few developers in a team. And thus further increased my interest in games development and cemented my ideal dream job in the future which is to be a game developer.
